Questions, answered
How is VDS different from VPS?
VPS shares physical CPU cores with burst allocation, while VDS gives you dedicated cores and guaranteed RAM reserved only for your machine — consistent, predictable performance with no CPU steal.
Can I upgrade or downgrade later?
Yes, any time. Upgrades are instant; downgrades require a quick disk-usage verification to make sure your data fits the smaller plan.
Which operating systems can I run?
Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux and Windows Server, plus custom ISOs on request.
Why is outbound SMTP blocked?
To keep our network clean and deliverable, ports 25, 465, 137, 138 and 139 are blocked. Use a transactional email provider (e.g. an API-based service) for outbound mail.
What about reverse DNS and bandwidth overage?
Reverse DNS is available via support. Bandwidth overage is billed at $0.29/GB on 500 Mbit/s–1 Gbit/s uplinks.
